I get my ideas out of my dreams… if you’re lucky enough to use something you see in a dream, it is purely original. It’s not in the world — it’s in your head. I think that is amazing.

Alright my followers

I have a request. I’m in the midst of starting a personal style blog on blogspot.com - but I have a dilemma. The NAME of said blog, I’ve got it narrowed down to 4. All have a different meaning and relationship to fashion and to myself, and I’m looking to see which will have the highest impact on my readers. So, think of yourselves as a focus group - feel free to tell me anything you might want to see along with which name you consider to be the best choice.

Here are the 4:

1. lily+noel

Lily is my first name and Noel was my late Uncle’s name. During the time I spent with him before is passing and throughout my childhood he inspired me more than anyone ever has. He is where I get my “fashionisms” from.

2. sheer

Sheer represents the more delicate side and somewhat more provocative side of myself. I love sheer fabrics and the way they wisp around the wearer.

3. silver+brass

Somewhat less sentimental but still related. Silver and brass are my favorite metals for accessories. Not much to it but I like it.

4. waistcoat

I like the look of a waistcoat, although I’ve never owned one. I fell in love with a simple white vested waistcoat and soon after, the word “waistcoat” itself. I think it’s a fun word to say & also reminds me of Alice in Wonderland (one of my favorite books and movies)

So, there you are. I’d really, really appreciate some feedback on which you all think is the best choice!

Go ahead, what do you think?
